Mutual development of Half Mirror Type 4k-3D Monitor.
Yokohama, Japan Jan. 28, 2011 …KEISOKU GIKEN (K. Hirano/president，Yokohama, Japan) and REDROVER (Hoe-Jin, Ha/President, Korea) are agreed to mutually develop “World First 27.8”, 4k-3D Monitor System.” (The system is using a half mirror).
This system will be utilizing various technologies of uncompressed recording systems and associated products of KEISOKU GIKEN who has long been developing and supplying the uncompressed recording system (UDR system) to the market since the early time of High Vision System, 4k Digital Cinema, Super High Vision and Ultra High Definition Imaging Systems and the True 3D Stereoscopic Monitoring System Technologies developed by Redrover with using half mirror system as well as Rigs for 3D.
The both parties agreed as follow:
1. Develop proto-type Half Mirror Type 4k-3D Monitor System.
2. Develop marketable monitor systems based on the marketing strategy
3. Market the monitor system under Redrover brand
4. Market world worldwide by the both parties
UDR-20S of KEISOKU GIKEN is an uncompressed recorder which incorporates with 4k/30p 4:2:2 10bit, 2 channels for simultaneous recording and playing functions. It has been used as the prime recorder/player for the projector based 4k-3D viewing system.
As 3D system is widely accepted, further development of 4k-3D viewing system is also demanded.
This newly developing 4k-3D monitoring system will enable to edit and proof viewing 3D images without using commonly used large scaled projector systems.
Furthermore, this 4kx2k resolution will be suited to show ultra high definition images in medial and precise MAP making industries.
The 4k-3D monitor will be exhibited and demonstrated at the central hall of NAB2011.
